Hear me out.

So you know how Joel would come back sometimes, with different shirts, different memories, sometimes even a different voice?
I think I know why.

First of all, this isn't the only Loop. There was another one built in Nevada, years before. There have been multiple accounts of those Loops interacting with each other, sometimes sending things between them [SOURCE].

Secondly, there are plenty of accounts of things appearing in the loops that didn't come from EITHER of The Loops. That, and too many missing persons to count (honestly, it's a wonder it stayed active for as long as it did...) [SOURCE]

Third, THEY WENT LOOKING FOR HIM. A LOT. They're secretive about it, sure, but there has to be a full map of The Loop somewhere. It was a pretty big issue, and the publicity that Joel's story got was one of the major reasons why it shut down. It's clear they WANTED to find him, but they COULDN'T. [SOURCE] [SOURCE]

With all this evidence, it feels obvious that wherever Joel went, it wasn't The Loop in Munso, and perhaps not even the one in Nevada.

Maybe Joel was teleported to another paralell dimension?

I don't hate this idea. It does solve a couple of issues surrounding it. There are a whole lot of holes to this story, and this theory answers a lot of them.

The only issue is that there's literally no reason to believe that parallel dimensions exist. It's equally possible to believe that the workers at The Loop were just extremely incompetent.

Used to work at The Loop in Munso. Spent a month searching for Joel, to no avail. This theory makes me feel a little better that we couldn't find him.

This is cool but it literally makes ZEROOO sense. How did the broadcast make its way to us, then? Magnets?!?

I've noticed the same thing about Joel-or, perhaps, the Joels.

I've tracked differences in his hair, clothing, and voice patterns. There are at least 3 different "versions" of Joel seen between shots.

The parallel dimension theory holds more weight than people are giving it credit for. The Nevada facility documented similar phenomena before it was shut down.
